Can I simply withdraw from the proceeding?
Yes. But that decision is, of course, up to you and your client. QDRO-law may contact you for information you may have in your file about the pension plan. If you continue to represent your client with respect to the work QDRO-law is doing, QDRO-law is more than willing to talk to you about the QDRO and explain it to you. QDRO-law is also willing, with your written consent, to communicate directly with your client if you think that would be helpful. If you have withdrawn, upon your request, QDRO-law will send you a letter when we close our file so that you know the QDRO process has been completed.
