Can I simply refer my client to QDRO-law after entry of the decree and withdraw from the proceeding?

Will QDRO-law consult with me about language to use in the decree to divide a pension benefit or retirement account when a separate QDRO will be prepared?

Can I simply refer my client to QDRO-law after entry of the decree and withdraw from the proceeding?

Yes. QDRO-law may want to consult with you and obtain information you may have about the pension plans. And in the unlikely event that the parties do not agree voluntarily to sign the QDRO and a court hearing becomes necessary, the client will usually need to obtain an attorney to represent them in that hearing. QDRO-law does not generally provide that service. QDRO-law will usually send you a copy of its closing letter to the client so that you know the QDRO process has been completed.

Yes. QDRO-law charges fees on an hourly basis for that service.
